In my early twenties, I worked as a field biologist in the Northwest Territories, Canada. Here, I am preparing to release a wild Canadian Lynx after attaching a radio collar. Good science is essential, however, I find that photography and journalism are much more powerful tools when it comes to effecting change. I am proud to be a part of a family of photojournalists bringing stories from all corners of this planet for @natgeo. My peers and colleagues are the best in the world and they inspire me to work harder everyday. To see more from my journey as a photographer, please #follow me on @paulnicklen.
